The Big Wolf Fundraiser was held this weekend at Wolf Hollow Golf Course on the campus of Co-Lin. The fundraiser was to benefit the golf team for extra gear and to be able to get in an extra tournament or go play some nice golf courses as the year winds down. The tournament was a scramble format consisting of 4-man teams. There were eight teams in this year’s event and some really good golf was played. The wining number was 19 under par 53. The prizes that the teams could win were tickets to the Zurich Classic in New Orleans, rounds at TPC Louisiana, Beau Pre in Natchez, Live Oaks in Flora, Deerfield in Canton, Brookhaven Country Club, and Edwin Watts gift cards and some golf clubs. It was fun day of golf at Wolf Hollow, and lunch was provided for the players. The golf course was in great shape and played excellent on Saturday for the tournament. The greens were in tremendous shape and rolled phenomenally. There were no complaints about the course at all. The only downfall to the day was that it rained on and off throughout the day, but it was just a little drizzle, so it wasn’t that bad. Everyone had a great time in benefitting the golf team and helping them raise money for their season and to be able to go play in tournaments and compete. The Co-Lin golf team is coached by first year head coach Craig Hennington and the players are: Cameron Little, Lucas Brewer, Bryce Chapman, Bryson Jones, Garrett Herring, Logan Pitts, Adam Files, Peyton Miller, Will Marble, and Jacob Lammey.
