Why Cam Newton is a Top 10 QB

Being able to take a team that has a depleted group of receivers, to a championship game is insane.  Tom Brady has done it multiple times, and he is one of the top QBs in the league.  Cam Newton, in 2015, led his team to the Super Bowl without a true number one wideout.  He carried his team, along with the defense, to one of the most biggest stages known to sports.  Cam has been a force to reckon with since his arrival in the league in 2011.  He even won league MVP, while getting to the Super Bowl.  Although he is not as accurate as many in the league, he is still one of the best in the game.  His running ability as a quarterback, is top 5 in the history of the NFL.  He doesn’t earn the respect that he rightfully deserves as an athletic quarterback.  He has done more with less surrounded around him than anyone in the NFL.  His biggest season came when he had no household name wideouts in 2015.  To be able to have a dominating season like that, should put him in the tier of Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, and Drew Brees.  He also competes in a division with Brees and Ryan.  For Cam to get his team to double digit wins is an accomplishment of itself.  Cam Newton has proven time and time again that he is a top tier QB in the league and has silenced most of his critiques, but he has yet to be named a top 10 QB in the NFL.
